An noted in the article, this is an ANSYS issue for which you would need to contact ANSYS support. We do not have any workarounds for this ANSYS MNF-write issue.
for your and any ANSYS Adams users information (and to complete this thread) please find hereafter some supporting infomation as I comprehend this issue.
ANSYS (respectively CADFEM) support told us in context with this issue regarding ANSYS Workbench 19.0, 19.1:
"[For the purpose of solving this issue:] Insert the following command [before the] command ADAMS: dmpoption,all,yes"
And if this does not work, "[w]orkaround [be] to work with older releases for now."
Considering this advices this is how generation MNF files using ANSYS Workbench works at ours:
ANSYS Workbench 17.2, 18.1, 18.2 works fine
ANSYS Workbench 19.0 works when adding command dmpoption,all,yes before command ADAMS
ANSYS Workbench 19.1, 19.2 still does not work
ANSYS Workbench 2019 R1 works when adding command dmpoption,all,yes before command ADAMS
We are pleased that generation MNF files seems to work properly within ANSYS Workbench 2019 R1, when adding command dmpoption,all,yes before command ADAMS.
Our workaround for now is to avoid using ANSYS Workbench 19.1, 19.2 for the purpose of generation MNF files.
