I am simulating full vehicle (tractor with trolley) at constant velocity. I am unable to see the impact of change in rolling resistance on the vertical tire force or in general stability of vehicle. I am adjusting rolling resistance by changing "rolling resistance torque coefficient" in property file (PAC2002).
That's okay but I am not able to see the horizontal force balance and any change in rolling resistance is not affecting the stability of my vehicle which doesn't happen in reality.
So you entered QSY1 = 1.2566 (104300/83000) in the property file?
I'm not sure that the model can handle that high if a value. I'm pretty sure it has never been tested. The developers have to weigh in on it. Normal value is ~0.01.
I fear he may talk about 208600 Nmm of rolling resistance torque which - depending on tire radius - may be half way realistic with a tire radius of short above 300 mm ?
