I have a macro that works fine on my desktop in as long as you run Adams/View in interactive mode.
As far as I know, you can't launch interactive mode on the HPC. I've tried, and it just seems to die without executing any commands. Running in batch doesn't seem to be an option either as View crashes on the animation record start command.
Has anyone ever been able to make this work?
