Finding the direction of the local axis

Is there any way that we can find the direction of the axes of the local coordinate system with respect to the global coordinate system? suppose that each axis is a unit vector, can I calculate the direction of the axis unit vector with respect to the x-y-z-axis in the global coordinate system?

Did you check out the online help for the Adams View - Function Builder (Design Time)?

LOC_GLOBAL() and ORI_GLOBAL() may give you something.

Quite often people use extra markers to e.g. have something to point towards, and then use ORI_IN_PLANE() or ORI_ALONG_AXIS() etc.
