I have a body pushing on a second body, using the contact force . The first body pushes on the second one and they separate; the second body is then not connected anything and when the contact has no friction the second body just drifts off at a constant velocity. When the contact has friction the parts separate visibly and then all of a sudden the contact force sky rockets and causes large accelerations, even though during this there's no physical contact. My error tolerance is at 1e-6 and I've increased the facet tolerance to 1000. Not sure what to do from here.
