ADAMS 2021.4 Info Window Issue

I just installed 2021.4. Has anybody else done so and noticed some odd behavior with the info window? Forever, if you did an info on an object you could then click on a child of that object and it would populate the field and you could info it. Now it seems to truncate characters of that child depending on where you pick. Here's a sequence...

I right click and info a solid...

Now I want to info the ref marker. when I click on it, I get this in the top white field...

Notice it removed one of the "9's" in the marker name...(???)

I have replicated this on my machine and this seems to be a bug. I have created a bug report with our Product Development group and will provide an update here if I receive any helpful information.

I reported this behavior during the beta testing and a product defect was issued. I was hoping it would have been fixed in the final release

Just checked it. It is halfway fixed, halfway completely screwed up. It seems like you can click anywhere in the entity you are studying and get the 'old' behvior.

If I click on the 'J' in the first line, it correctly selects .MODEL_1.JOINT_1

If I click on the 'D' in the first line it correctly selects .MODEL_1

BUT if I click anywhere else, say the "I Marker", it will do the same select, BUT removes the letter I click on.

So I click on the 'T' in PART_2, what is selected is .MODEL_1.PAR_2

If I click on 'K' in MARKER_2, what is selected is ,MODEL_1.PART_2.MARER_2

Definitively not the correct behavior.

it was definitively through the Beta forum. At this point I didn't have Jira access.

Maziar,

The 2021.4 beta-bug was reported and supposedly resolved before the 2021.4 release. (But not fixed properly :-( )

The 2021.4 bug was also reported (by me) and is supposedly resolved but not released.
