I know that Adams can calculate stresses and strains for flexible bodies, but I don't know what the available stress values are. For example I can plot the Von Mises stresses or the Normal to the axes. But these are the stresses common for the composite material in its entirety. Is there a way to exctract stresses on the specific layers of the carbon?
Also, is there an option where I can examine Laminate Failure theory in Adams? I do have the maximum allowable stress values for the material and I wanted to see whether Adams can calculate failure indices.
