Adams - scFlow Cosimulation with flexible bodies

Hello,

Is it possible to use flexible bodies in Adams - scFlow cosimulation?

e.g., If I wanted to simulate a UAV during flight, could I model the UAV's outer shell as flexible body? If so would the wall force from scFlow get transferred accurately?

Hi Joseph,

currently not implemented. There is a possibility to do a three-way co-simulation between scFlow, Nastran SOL400 and Adams.

The flex part should reside inside scFlow/Nastran and the interface to the Adams model would be the attachment points for the flex part.

Not tested in full, but each p[art of the chain is functional.
