Looking for a way to develop actuator displacement signals on an Adams rig capable of reproducing measured responses on a test (physical) vehicle. Any suggestions for tools or processes?

  • Have a look at the general actuation_example assembly from the acar_shared.
    In a nutshell you can use rpc-files as an input for any of the channels which is basically what you wanted to do.
     
    Helpful commands:
    Adjust -> Acatuators -> Table (good overview on what's there)
    Adjust -> Acatuators -> Wizard (change input to rpc)
    Simulate -> General Actuation Analysis -> Actuation Input File -> Save/Open (Save/load your setting to/from a file)
    Simulate -> General Actuation Analysis -> Submit Analysis
