Has anyone encountered an animation issue where the Time Range is different than the completed simulation time and only replays to that point?

I have an issue with animation in ADAMS 2021.1 where I run a model with contacts turned on and the model simulates completely, strip charts update completely, but in animation, the Time Range field shows a shorter range and only replays to that point. I can modify the end time in the field but it doesn't change the animation.

This is a known issue in Adams 2021.1. It works properly in the 2021.4 release and onwards. (Recommend that you upgrade to the latest 2022.1 release)

Animation in the PostProcessor works as it should in 2021.1, so a workaround would be to do the animation there if you don't want to upgrade.

Excellent, thank you! I use the animation to save the model off in a simulated position. Could I do that in PostProcessor animation? or can you think of a workaround for that, until I can get ADAMS updated?

I got it. There is a save in simulated position button in the simulation panel. If I simulate with graphics on and I can save the model off from there, without replaying the incorrect animation.
