I have some problems when using Viewflex tool and when i try to import a mnf file to swap a rigid body for a flexible body . Also, some command icons don't appear in any MSC ADAMS ribbon such as the View Flex icon and MaxFlex icon. So how can I add these icons into the Flexible Body ribbon.
And there is the space in the part name because this part is copied from Part1. And the double quotes just appeared when i choose it from brower. I will change that part name and see if it is okey.
ViewFlex is not exposed nor supported in the View interface of Adams Modeler. This is because the Modeler interface offers a better experience for generating flexible bodies. If you haven't already, I recommend running the flexible body generation tutorial available in the Adams Modeler Help to see how it works:
Based on your screenshot, it looks like the access point to ViewFlex via the classic View interface within Adams Modeler was mistakenly not suppressed. I will ask the development team to address that issue.
MaxFlex is not yet exposed in Adams Modeler because Adams Modeler does not yet support it at all, either through the View interface or the Modeler interface. You would need to export a .cmd file of your Adams-Modeler-built model and use that to bring the model into a traditional Adams installation if you wanted to add a MaxFlex part to a model that was initially built in Adams Modeler.
As for your troubles doing an MNF import rigid-flex swap via the View interface of Adams Modeler, I'm not sure what the problem could be there. If you could describe the steps you take to reach the error (and, better yet, attach the model) I could have our development team take a look and likely track this as a Bug. Or, you could reach out to your technical support representative to start the process.
Thank you for your information about ViewFlex anf Maxflex, about the error of Rigid to Flex command ( import MNF file), i changed the name of that part then it becomes successful.
