Bearing AT bearing creation

Hello,

When defining a bearing in Bearing AT, are the load ratings and Limiting/Reference speed mandatory to fill out? I do have some data available for them, but if they are not required to run a proper analysis, I would like to avoid using them.

Hello Josef,

please note that in Adams GUI, all required fields are of white color, while gray colored fields are optional.

Related to your question, to create user defined bearing, one needs to fill out Static Load Rating in addition to basic dimensions outer dimensions (d x D x B). This is used to compute assumed contact angle which is used to define finer contact mesh area on the roller and rings FE meshes.
