I am doing a General Actuation Analysis and I have a doubt regarding how to attach the actuator subsystems to the ground. I have three options: Use a fixed joint, use only a bushing in the CoG, and use 4 bushing (one per corner and separated with a big distance)
Anyone has the expertise and know what is the better option? I am open to new proposals
Have you looked at the "actuation_example" assembly in the shared A/Car database? They use bushings at the 4 corners. I believe one advantage of this approach is to allow for compliance at the chassis connections, while avoiding chassis 'drift' during the simulation.
