I tried importing as faceted body and as mesh. I tried converting the mesh using geometry from mesh.
I created a contact force between the two bodies, but when I run the simulation I get the following ERROR: The contact object ."Adams_ICM_MBD Scenario 2".Contact_1 is missing a required I or J geometry.
How do I create the appropriate geometry from the STL files?
In older versions of MSC.ADAMS, I could just use the "file stereo read" command. Which worked fine for creating contact forces between bodies generated from imported STLs.
I had previously read that article. In the past versions of ADAMS I just used "file stereo read" which worked seamlessly. Exporting to parasolid seems an unnecessary additional step. How can I use a similar workflow in ADAMS Modeler OR is that not supported?
