I am trying to extend our damper modeling approach from standard force-velocity curves. Any good references on how to do it or lessons learnt from the existing options inside ADAMS/Car and Ride? Specially looking to improve correlation of activities for Comfort , durability and NVH.
What are the different approaches and what are the benefits of them?
You can now create a fancy damper model outside of Adams (e.g. Simulink or Easy5), package it as an FMU, and then use that in Adams Car. In your Car subsystem, right-click on a regular damper and select Replace, then set the definition to "Fmu_damper". Then it will ask you to specify the *.fmu file.
