How do I check SCA kernel connectivity?

I am trying to run a nonlinear model using Adams Max Flex. I am defining material properties with MATDIGI card. When I run the model, I get the following error message:

*** USER FATAL MESSAGE 7831 (SCA Service Loader)
   SCA SCA.MDSolver.Util.Digimat service initialization failed.
 *** USER FATAL MESSAGE 6488 (load_digimat_service)
UNABLE TO LOAD THE SERVICE THAT CORRESPONDS TO GROUP NAME MATERIAL ON THE MATDIGI BULK DATA ENTRY.
USER ACTION: CHECK THE CONNECT SERVICE ENTRY IN THE FMS THAT IS CALLED BY THE
MATDIGI BULK DATA ENTRY ID 1 AND GROUP NAME MATERIAL. EITHER THE SERVICE NAME IS INCORRECT OR
THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SCA KERNEL. PLEASE SEE ABOVE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

I checked the bulk data entry ID which is 1. Now, my question is how to check the SCA kernel ?

  • Hi Alexis,

I have installed Adams 2022.2 and Digimat 2023.1 On a Windows machine.

I am using a license server which allows me to use all other MSC products. I can run my model in Adams if I don't include MATDIGI card in it.

I was able to successfully run a model in Nastran 2022.4 which included the same MATDIGI card. I was thinking maybe SOL400 included in my version of Adams is not compatible with Digimat.
