Have a look into the double_wishbone suspension template from acar_shared. the bumpstop are exactly what you are after

Hi Alexis

The bump stops that I find in a double _wishbone suspension template is a generic bump stopper (Force VS deflection)
What i want is force Vs velocity with you van say having clearance values

Create a force with

-C*VR(M1,M2)*step(DM(M1,M2), x,0,x+0.1,1)

where x is the displacement where x is the displacement where you want the damper to kick in.

When this is working, replace the first term with a non-linear spline lookup if needed.

Alternative, create a 3D spline with velocity (VR) as first independent variable and displacement (DM) as second.
