Full vehicle simulation error

Hello,

I'm trying to run a full vehicle fishhook maneuver simulation with my custom suspension geometry but, I'm getting this error message:

For the last attempted iteration:

The equation with the largest error was model.testrig.sse_diff1 Comp = 0 Error = 1476.918709

The variable receiving the largest increment was model.testrig.sse_diff1 Comp = 0 Delta = 147691870.909562.

In my full vehicle model, I don't have powertrain subsystem, could this be an issue? I was able to run the full vehicle KnC simulations successfully before trying to simulate Open Loop Steering cases.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

This is the typical error for failed equilibrium, a quick search in SimCompanion will get you loads of info on the topic. You may want to print some of them since this may occur from time to time.

simcompanion.hexagon.com/.../@uri

You may also want to check all parts are correctly attached.

out of interest, did you thoroughly test your custom suspension before the fishhook maneouvre, or did you attempt it first time?

I tested using the KnC machine simulation and seems to operate as intended. I'll look into what caused the issue further. Thanks for the quick response!
