Sometimes when we run scFLOW simulations we see divergence which typically originates from a poor quality mesh element. Is it possible to check the mesh quality or in other words identify these poor quality elements in the pre-processor so that we can take counter measures to improve the mesh quality before running the simulation?
To have a look at the mesh quality, I recommend you to execute from the scFLOWpre menu bar
view -> mesh quality
The new feature from v2024.2 allows the user to display mesh quality as table information, as we can see from the picture below
Checking some range of bad elements and then clicking “Display check element” will mark them
Thank you. I am able to select elements based on quality metrics. I have a follow up question, Is there a way to see the entire mesh with the elements I selected highlighted. Otherwise it is hard to see where these elements are in the model. Here is one example showing only 2 elements in the entire mesh.

To improve situation, you can follow this procedure:
right click -> Display all
Switch to wireframe mode or not depending on CAD complexity
Go to view -> fit to selected element ( mesh )
