Effective immediately, starting with Easy5 2024.1.2, Elements 2024.1.1 and Adams 2024.1.1, a licensing system change has been implemented in those versions and going forward. These versions mark the first implementation of a new licensing system known as "LAPI_HULL". (The previous implementation is referred to as the "legacy LAPI".) When Easy5, Elements and Adams are used with one another, either via FMI or legacy Adams Controls, both must use the same license implementation, ie., both must use LAPI-HULL or both must use legacy LAPI. Going forward, Easy5, Elements and Adams will be using LAPI_HULL. By the end of 2024 all Hexagon products will be using LAPI_HULL.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using Easy5, Elements, or Adams standalone (not doing a cosim and not using an imported FMU), this is not a concern for you.
