Is there a way to use an arbitrary increment of one load case, as the starting point of another loadcase. When I try restarting using a t08 file from the middle of a load case, Marc will just continue that load case instead of starting the new load case.

I do a preload of a bearing, and at different preloads I want to apply a lateral load. What I'm doing now (which works, but is awkward) is that I have multiple consecutive load cases for the different preload levels, and request a restart file after each load case. Input: restart last -1 0 0 0 0 However, when the number of preload levels increase, this is becomes unwieldly. Therefore, I tried instead to run a single load case for all the preload values by using a nonlinear ramp-up function, and requesting restart files from all the increments in that load case. Input: restart last 1 0 0 1 0 The problem is that when I then run a loadcase where I apply a lateral load, restarting from a certain preload level, instead of applying the prescribed laterall load Marc will continue the preload loadcase. I guess that there is some way to do this right, but I cannot seem to find this in the documentation.
