I'm working on the analysis of a lamination process, where a steel bar passes through a series of cylindrical rollers. Since the bar is subjected to a deep plastic deformation, my desire is to remesh the steel bar at the exit of each roller, by using the same HEX elements and maintaining the physical results that come from the previous phases.
It is important for me to avoid the use of TET elements for external reasons, so as far as I know the global automatic remeshing is not suitable for my case.
