I would like to know whether the rotating axle mesh intersection with the bearing mesh is a problem due to rotating? Can the solver handle the problem? How to handle rotating mesh which is in contact with a fixed incorporated mesh, and the mesh haven't got geometry attached to it.
Marc can handle this problem without difficulty as long as you define them as two different deformable contact bodies and define "touch" contact between them. It is easier to define a rigid contact body (surface) and glue it to the deformable body that you want to rotate. Then rotate the rigid body and the glued deformable body would rotated with the rigid body.
I would like to mention that I was told by the local MSC support, that it is advised to use analytical boundaries on the contact bodies, and to play with the circular element numbers, the suggestion was that the bearing circular division number must be higher than the axis, and set the time step accordingly to the rotational velocity.
