Is there anyway to make a very high elastic modulus mesh body as a rigid body?

I have a model with many high elastic modulus mesh bodies which can act as rigid bodies.
Now it is very slow to solve.
I suppose by transforming them to rigid body that way could make the solving much faster.
 
Is there anyway to make them as rigid bodies?

  • I tried your model. So the case is that a deform-able meshed body making contact with solid meshed body.
     
    What I'm wondering further is that whether the solid meshed body as you ad viced can make contact with other solid meshed body or not.
     
    In my case I have likely-solid bodies which share nodes with other soft elements and those "solid bodies" will make contact to each other.
     
    Sorry I couldn't know how to play with your example due to my limitation using Mentat (I'm mostly go with Marc interface in Patran).
