Post Processing: Contact Pressure/Surface Pressure

Question

I have simulation results of two contacting bodies.

I want to get the contact/surface pressure to campare against to the maximum contact pressure (Flächenpressung) value given by my material.

Which scalar result available from Mentat Post Processing would you use?

Hi Roland,

For plane strain model also you should be able to get the contact normal stress output. Check Hertz contact problem in MAR101 training material.

Request contact normal stress output in Job > Results as shown in attached image.
