run_marc an input file from the command promt window.

Question

I used this command to launch the simulation in marc 2014:

cd D:\simu_folder\

run_marc -jid Simulation_name.dat -nps 5

Now we have installed Marc 2019 and it does not work.

An error appears, saying run_marc is not recognised as an internal command.

What shall I change?

Hi Aurea,

An alternative method without changing the installation directory is using the command inside double quotes ex: "C:\Program Files\MSC.Software\Marc\2019.1.0\marc2019.1	oolsun_marc" -jid input_file
