The picture above is taken from the user's guide of Marc-Mentat 2021.1 (e022). As you can see from the picture, the cohesive part has the same mesh with top part. How can I create these zero-thickness elements between two sets of elements?
Note: I know how to define geometric and material properties. I just don't know how to create zero-thickness elements.
Element 192 is Six-node Three-dimensional Interface Element, Hence you cannot assign triangular elements . Refer to the previous reply from Zhong about extruding the 2D elements by a small thickness. After extruding you should be able to assign element 192.
