Status shows "Running" but the analysis is stuck.

I am submitting a job in Marc-Mentat and the status shows "Running" but the analysis is not progressing. Usually I check the analysis by looking Wall-Time change and also the computer starts to make sound (fan noise) but neither Wall-Time increase nor computer starts to make sound. How can I resolve this problem?

Can you check the *out file to make sure it's actually running?

I checked "output file" and it says it couldn't find the file and asked me to create new file.

If there was no *out file created then the job did not start. Can you double-check that the marc input file was created? You can open the folder in windows explorer and check what files were created
