(SimAcademy Webinar) MSC Apex Scripting and AI Pair Programming with New Scripting API Stub Files

Dear MSC Apex User,
Please join us for a look at the future of scripting for MSC Apex, enabled by newly developed stub files for the MSC Apex Scripting API. The stub files provide IDEs such as Visual Studio Code or PyCharm with direct access to the MSC Apex Scripting documentation, including type hinting, defaults, available functions, classes, and methods.
With these additional stub files, the barrier to entry is reduced for all aspects of MSC Apex Scripting, such as modifying recording macros, developing custom tools, or writing scripts from scratch.
As an added functionality, when using AI pair programming tools such as GitHub Copilot, the stubs provide the AI model with the necessary context for answering questions, suggesting code edits, or finding available functionality.
In this webinar, we will cover retrieving the stub files from SimCompanion, configuring Visual Studio Code for Python, accessing the stub files and custom tools repository, and providing several examples of the benefits of the stub files to scripting workflows and AI pair programming.
Don't miss this look into the future of working with MSC Apex Scripting!
