Part Reduction option is similar to sub-structuring ( Static / Component mode reduction ) technique . It improves solution performance upon modification of part by only doing computations needed (reduction step) for the part being modified and subsequently full system (assembly) solution is obtained.
Is there an example or demo somewhere that shows the benefits or usage or when/how it's valuable? I'm going to do my own test but thought I'd ask. When I blindly checked it once it huuuuuuugely increased my model run time so I need to either put together a smaller scale test or see something that you guys put together.
