I don't see the option to apply a constant force on an edge (like a UDL), only option I see is on vertices or nodes or at a remote location. Is it possible to select an edge without using distributed load?

Trying to model a simply supported beam and want to add a UDL along it e.g. 5 kN/m. However, I don't see the option to apply a constant force on an edge, only option I see is on vertices or nodes "Directly" or "at a remote location" with RBE2's & RBE3's which is not what I require. Is it possible to select an edge force?

No, that's not possible currently. The only options at the moment are the ones you've already found. To define it as an edge force you would have to take the model into Patran.
