Would it be possible to control material IDs on material creation in Apex, and so with the Python script, and also control the material IDs on exporting the Nastran model?
That is something that needs to be improved if Apex is to fit in with the existing workflows of many Nastran users.
I need control of all ID's, including properties, materials, coordinate systems, loads, SPC's etc. This was one of the things I tried to get accross to the MSC reps when they first gave me a demo of what was then called "Project Predator", now Apex :-)
Exactly! I have have the same request as DRidgley. There is a huge necessity of control the numbering not only the all parts of fem, but also the analysis cards, too.
