I think it takes way too long to upgrade an existing Apex model to a new release. I might be ok with the time if we were moving from one major release to another. But just to open a pre-SP1 Harris Hawk model in SP1 takes too long. I don't really think I need to know "why" it takes so long (unless there's a layman's explanation or justification). Instead, I'd just like to know if this is an issue that is likely to be improved or is it likely to remain the case going forward due to some other aspect of the Apex program.
Currently, when I get an SP for a release, I'd like to install it right away since it represents bug fixes in my mind. But instead I have to set aside time to pull my current model in under the new SP before I can get rolling with it again.
