Do you mean imprinting one solid onto the face of another? You can do that using Split Surface. Select the face you want to imprint onto, then select the faces of the other solid that will produce the required profile.
Here you go - attached as a single image. I've used the Split surface using surface option here, but could equally have used Split surface using curve.
I asked yet another question on SimCompanion over the weekend. I wonder if you can look into it.
Basically, I am trying to import four columns of numbers, as shown below, but I don’t see what I am doing wrong.
Sorry, still not seeing it. It's coming through as a some sort of link that's getting interpreted as an email address when I click on it: [cid:image003.png@01D64E04.C0A5DEE0]. Can you describe the problem in more detail?
Please see attachment.
I am trying to import four columns od numbers into PATRAN.
I am trying to create a Spatial Field, Tabular Input, but I can’t get it imported as the error message shown keeps coming back.
Please advise.
Hi Paul, for some reason your attachment didn't come through. As it was getting late (I'm in the UK) and to avoid more delay I passed your query to US Support. Is the issue resolved now?
