Is there a way to set the default background colour to white?

I know I can press the 'Change View Background Color' button in the top right, but is there a way to save this setting without toggling it each time, for example in the 'ApplicationUserSettings.xml'? When using a RDC to connect to a workstation, the blue shaded background massively impacts performance, so we would like to change it to a solid colour by default.

    I don't think there's a way to save that setting currently. However there is another way to change the background to whatever you like. In your Apex installation, find the file background.png. For Apex 2020 this is found in C:\Program Files\MSC.Software\MSC Apex\2020-722475\leaf\Services\GEN\apps\res\Textures. This file is the default background in Apex. You can replace it with any other .png file to change the background.
