How to refine the mesh on hotspot locations?

I have 2 hotspots of interest in my model that I would like to refine the mesh a bit on. How can I do this with a 3D part in Apex?

Geometry primitives are treated as solids for the purposes of the analysis. It'll get flagged as unmeshed geometry in the analysis readiness tool, but of course you can ignore that.
