MSC Apex highlighter option.

While dragging a vertex or an edge of geometry/fe model iam unable to locate the exact location of refernce edge as its not getting highlighted during the vertex/edge drag operation.

Is there any alterative to highlight the reference edge during a drag operation.

There isn't a way to do that - Edge Drag will only highlight a target edge if you're dragging onto the edge itself. In your case you want to drag into alignment with the edge. Here, the best option would be do drag the two vertices of the source edge instead. Drag the left one first, then when you drag the other one it will snap to align with your reference edge.

That may not work for more complex cases. In those situations you may have to construct extra geometry to get what you want. See attached screen recording for an example.
