Hello, I would like to know the difference between the two option ( Standard vs Numeric) available in beam panel. These below are my understanding. standard type- i can able to create the standard shapes that are available from the library Numeric type- Instead of creating cross section geometry, i can able to give the physical property values as a input. Apart from this, is there any difference is there between these two types of beam C/S and output (stress recovery points.. ) will be the same for both methods ?

Your understanding is correct. Additionally, Numeric profiles gives you options to define bar and rod type properties.

Also, Standard profile -->> Writes PBEAML, where Numeric profile --->> Writes PBEAM, PBAR, PROD
