Is it possible to measure the mass of the model by selecting its elements in MSC Apex?

I believe you are using Marc / Mentat.

In Mentat we can get the mass of selected elements by using the following method,

Select the elements

Navigate to Tools > Calculations > Element mass > selected elements

The mass of selected elements will be displayed in the Mentat command window. The density must be defined in material properties.

If you want to print the mass computed by Marc solver in the .out file,

Jobs > Job results > Output file

check box , volume mass and energy

Element regions > create > select the elements

Thank you for the suggestion @Sandip Patil ,

It happens that the workstation I am working on comes with no MSC Apex custom tools in the MSC_Apex_Workspace folder.

Is there a way to download in bulk all the available custom tools and make them readable to the current MSC Apex installation?

Additionally, do you know tools such as Nastran element Mass calculations are in the official Hexagon development roadmap?

Mass calculations in core Apex tools:

We have already reported the request to PD to get this feature in core Apex.

We can expect it to get in future release.
