Working with PCOMP properties and panels imported from .bdf file

I imported a model with PCOMP properties and a laminate definition from a .bdf file into MSC Apex.
I have requested the parts to be created based on their properties.
I can see the 2D mesh and properties listed in the model tree on the right side, and I can also view the Panels (laminate) definitions.
No geometry is available in the .bdf file so it not imported.

I would like to confirm a few aspects of working with PCOMP properties and panels:
  1. Are PCOMP properties not listed and unable to be viewed in the 2D element properties window (lower right side of the UI)? If so, how can I edit existing PCOMP properties?
  2. Are Panels (laminates) imported from .bdf files not displayed in the Sheet/Stacks window (lower right side of the UI)? If this is the case, how can they be edited? While I can access the panel and plies by right-clicking on the panel entity in the model tree and selecting properties from the menu, I am unable to add new plies.
  3. How can I edit element properties, specifically when reassigning a different property to elements that already have properties assigned to them?
  4. Is it possible to create a new panel and assign it single group of elements if geometry is not available?
