I cannot choose the integrated solver in Apex 2024 1.1 options when using a license server. Only external nastran solver is available. Why?

You are using "New Scenarios". In settings, go to Scenarios and Studies and select Legacy Scenarios. External Nastran is bundled with Apex 2024.2 and New Scenarios works fine with that version. This…

External Nastran is bundled with Apex 2024.2 and New Scenarios works fine with that version.

I see that you're a professor. I recommend students use Legacy Scenarios until they need capabilities in New Scenarios (namely dynamics and nonlinear).

Integrated solver available only with 'Legacy Scenarios". You can choose legacy scenario from "Options>> Application Settings"
