I'm using MSC Apex to mesh CAD models for neutronic simulation software.
I want to know how to replace the empty spaces on 'GRID' lines of the BDF file with zeroes. The format that my neutronic software will accept is 23 digits of either number, negative sign or decimal (.).
It seems like MSC Apex rounds the numbers, replacing zeroes with empty spaces (highlighted in red).

As Apex has been built specifically for Nastran, Nastran consider default values wherever necessary.
Apex don't offer much export precision control for now. We have made the request to PD for this.
You may try wide field format, see if that serves the purpose.
If you have Patran, then there are more options available to write in general or scientific format.
You may import bdf in patran and export it back.
