Best practices to improve stability on scFLOW side?

Hello everyone,

When dealing with challenging Marc - scFLOW analysis and encountering stability issues on the CFD side, are there any good practices to follow to improve the robustness of the simulation in scFLOW side?

Parents
  • When dealing with FSI and associated mesh deformation, this could lead to unwanted low-quality mesh elements, depending on the mesh deformation algorithm used (Harmonic, LDC, or RBF).
The scFLOW Log file is the first file to be analysed to see if there is

    •  negative mesh element appears
    • sufficient loop number to converge between physical time steps
    • courant number no too big to be computed in a stable way
