I am trying to model lateral float into a joint using RBE2-to CBUSH and Linear Gaps. The nodes are coincident. Do the CBUSH and the Linear GAP use the same 2 conincident nodes or does the Linear Gap require a intrmediate node? Can this be done?

The question at this point is whether you model is stable with the gap(s) open or not. If it is not stable with it/them open, a small spring (or several small springs) may be required for statbility. If it is stable with the gap(s) open, then it shouldn't require any special modeling.
