  • You are looking to generate and external superelement that represents only the internal acoustic cavity, right? First, lets look at how the acoustic cavity and structure communicate. The coupling matrix, called the A matrix, connects the external surface of the cavity to the 'touched' surface of the structure. So as an external superelement, the cavity would need to have all of the external surface grids in the ASET. That is not really efficient with respect to matrix size or processing.
     
    What leads you to wanting the acoustic cavity to be a standalone external superelement?
  • duration for structural parts seems ok if an external SE is using in sol111 process
    but you have to solve cavity every iteration. to reduce to time i wonder if it is possible.
