Normally in Frequency response analysis we check for acceleration/velocity/displacement across the frequency range at the node point of interest but entries should be made to extract the forces data itself across the frequency range at certain predefined grid point
I am not exactly sure where is the question in your post, but I think following should help.
In frequency response example you sited above, Force input a grid point is provided as a function of frequency as indicated by the left arrow. Nastran computes the grid point Acc/vel/disp and element forces and stresses as function of frquency. You can obtain the element forces (at grid points of the elements) output in frequency response via FORCE(corner)=ALL request in case control.
Please refer to the GPFORCE case control command in quick reference guide. GPFORCE is not available in SOLs 108, 111 or 129.
