I put in the card - PARAM,NOCOMPS=-1 to a working deck and got the 0* SYSTEM FATAL MESSAGE 1030 (XIO) BLOCK NUMBER MISMATCH IN READ 0******* DUMP OF XIO PARAMETERS Does anyone know what could be causing this. Thanks

Make sure the input deck has , rather than =

Try like below.

PARAM,NOCOMPS,-1
