Hi Sumit,

You need to use CBUSH with PBUSHT, here the third field is B which can be used for force vs velocity.

In below example you can see how it is used:

PBUSHT  1      B     2

PBUSH   1      B     1.     1.     1.     1.     1.     1.

CBUSH   1      1      1      2      0.    1.      0.

$ Dynamic Load Table : pbusht

TABLED1 2

       -1.     0.     0.     0.    1.     1.     2.     2.

       2.3    2.      ENDT

Hello Vivek

Thank you for your immediate response. After studying about PBUSHT, I came to know that it requires force per unit velocity versus frequency table. I only have force versus velocity curve for damper and no frequency info is available with me. I am trying to run a modal transient analysis for full vehicle which includes damper behavior.

So is it possible to define the damper using force versus velocity as input ?

Hi Sumit,

I do not see option other that using NOLIN1 , this is supported in both transient and frequency response.
