What is the difference between ‘Chained analysis’ and ‘Coupled analysis’?

Hello to all,
I am trying to run a coupled analysis of heat transfer and structure analysis. According to ‘Overview of Analysis Types’ in MSC Nastran nonlinear user’s guide SOL 400, “chained physics” and “coupled physics” are existing and STEP and SUBSTEP are used. What is the difference between two physics?
I think that chained analysis is near the weak coupling method and the other is similar to a strong coupling method which can consider an interaction with each other such as heat transfer-structure interaction. Is that correct?

Thank you
