Sol 200 shape optimization results are sent to op2 file can display results correctly when op2 file is generated using i4 mode.
The op2 file generated using the i8 mode does not work with Patran as well. This issue is specific to op2 file with i8 mode.
The new output option called hdf5 does contain the results which can be displayed properly using Patran with i8 mode. The way to activate h5 file is using MDLPRM,HDF5,0 in begin bulk section. It will be useful if META can post-process results with h5 file as well.
